Located in Oak Lawn, this haunted attraction isn't for the faint of heart. They're stirring up some fresh and frightening scares for this year, read below for all the scary-good details!

What's new at Midnight Terror Haunted House for 2018? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

For 2018, Midnight Terror Haunted House has made its largest renovations to date. We have fine-tuned every aspect of Midnight Terror Haunted House. A complete reinvention of every room, character, & layout brings the Legend of Midnight Terror Haunted House to life. Midnight Terror’s expansive playground progresses throughout 26,000 square feet, more rooms than we can count, and actors in every spot we can fit them. Explore the twists, turns, and tight spaces of “Factory of Malum”, which leads into the theatrics and special effects of “Black Oak Grove”. To finish off the Night of Fear, you’ll then have to tread through “Chainsaw Alley”. An ending you won’t see coming.

We're excited to show the result of our hard work to the public this upcoming Halloween season!

What differentiates Midnight Terror Haunted House from other local haunts in Illinois?

Driven by passion, we have discovered what it takes to create something completely original. We use “Old School” tactics, with a balance of “New School” technology, and we put an extreme focus on making Midnight Terror an “Actor Driven” show!

How long has Midnight Terror Haunted House been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Midnight Terror Haunted House's history?

Midnight Terror Haunted House is a company with 20 years experience in the Haunted House & Entertainment Industry. We started as a home haunt, and over the years have expanded to our current location. Owner, Justin Cerniuk, and his friends have dedicated their lives to making your nightmares a reality.

What's your favorite experience since opening Midnight Terror Haunted House?

Seeing a huge group of friends come together and make a dream come to life through dedication and RedBull.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Midnight Terror Haunted House from start to finish?

The Midnight Terror experience never truly leaves you. However, walking through our houses takes 40 minutes.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Midnight Terror Haunted House is? Why?

Everyone has a different tolerance for haunted houses. Come on in, and experience FEAR for yourself.

Does Midnight Terror Haunted House's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

Because we are located across the street from Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, it's believed the spirits come by and visit us as well. Actors report seeing an apparition of a little girl "Lilly," who is said to roam the employee hallways and break room. She can be heard laughing or skipping, and she takes a liking to our actresses.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

What started as hobby that stemmed from a love of all things horror, quickly became a lifestyle. The best part of the business is the priceless reactions from our customers.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Midnight Terror Haunted House?

We don't rely on technology for scares, we use it as a distraction to help our actors put on the best possible show.

Can Midnight Terror Haunted House accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Midnight Terror Haunted House together as a group?
