Dellwood has always been a family destination for recreation and entertainment. We invite you to ride our Hayride of Horror through the heart of this great park while the spirits of the long forgotten welcome you home. Dark and mysterious forces will toy with your imagination as our creatures inspire fear.
Eerie movies will air on our 20 foot outdoor screen while you await your Hayride of Horror, and our bonfire will warm you while keeping the evil from incinerating your soul. Line entertainment will keep you both terrified and delighted.
Curse of the Bayou:
Are you one of the brave souls to seek out the underground of Dellwood Park? We dare you to attempt the Curse of the Bayou. This top rated haunted attraction has been hidden in the Canyons below the Hayride of Horror. The veil between the living and the dead has been lifted, and a powerful Voodoo Priestess has been called forth from her home in the swamps. She commands a legion of fiendish monsters to assist her so that she may stay in this realm, wreaking havoc. Do you carry the still beating heart she yearns for? You must navigate the treacherous maze to escape, or risk being her next victim.
The Curse of the Bayou is not recommended for young children, parental guidance suggested. This is a walking attraction with an uneven trail, tight corners, and low ceilings. Strobe lighting, fog and loud noises will be utilized.
Some locations may have last minute updates due to changing circumstances. Please visit the attraction's website and/or social media before going to double-check that they are open. |

Scary yet fun
Awesome haunt and great jump scares, it was outstanding horror at Hayride of horror. It was scary yet fun, I screamed and laughed out loud. Starting from the waiting area until we get out of it was filled with entertainment. Funny characters make their way and show their skills as you wait for your chance. So it really doesn’t get boring especially when you are with your kid. I recommend not to take kids below age 5. It is really scary for them. Had great time with the family and we loved it. Definitely will be back next year.

Scared the hell out of us
Hayrides have always been our favorite and we make sure to visit this place every year. The long wait in the lines was compensated by a great hayride filled with scares, creative props and set design. The actors need a special mention. They were an energetic bunch of talented artists who know their craft really well. They kept up the momentum and were able to scare the hell out of us. Spookily dressed with excellent make up. The whole event was complete with haunting visual effects and music. The place is great and we are sure to fix up a date next year.

Email Verified Spider’s nest was creepy
It is a well-designed hayride that takes you through different scenes. The spider’s nest was creepy, while there were zombies that follow you in the graveyard. The scare characters sometimes scare you from the sides. Actors were energetic and always in character. They knew their craft well. Even the trail to the hayride has some decent scares. In short, it was scary fun that I’d enjoyed thoroughly. I will bring along my kids next time.

Right amount of terror and enjoyment
It was scary and fun. There were some good jump scares that made my wife scream. The hayride is long enough for you to give you the right amount of terror and enjoyment. There were some creepy props and gory actors who will come close to you. We’d managed to find a seat on the third row. So we got the full impact of the scares straightaway. Overall, it was worth the money spent. Five stars!

Visited with my two kids aged 11 and 13. For them, it was scary fun. Right from while waiting in the line, there’ll be someone there to scare you out of your wits. It is advisable not to take kids below 5 years age as it would be too scary for them. The hayride features excellent set design, scary props and creepy looking actors who will give you a tough time. I would give full points to the actors for their performance. Their costume and make up were also spot on. I would recommend this place to all scare seekers out there.

My GF is a fan of hayrides. The wait in the lines were compensated by bone chilling scares, props and wonderful sets. We were lucky to be seated on the front seat so that we could experience all the scares first hand. The scare actors were interactive, and their makeup/costumes were realistic. The hayride is not short. So you’ll get to enjoy lots of scare moments. We loved the entertainment and is looking forward to come again next year. Ticket prices were reasonable.

Loved it!!
I always loved hayrides and this one is exceptionally good. We had a blast and were pretty surprised that even the child artists did a wonderful job. We were lucky to be seated in the front itself as seating matters in any hayrides. We got to experience all the scares first hand. The exhibits were finely designed and evoked fear mostly of higher degree for the kids. The actors were engaging and were professionals in their area of expertise. We all loved this experience and looking for more such entertainment every year. All the more a great day ended fantastically well.
