The city boards up their downtown district, they overturn cars and dump trash in the streets. You feel like it's the end of the world, and the people you're gathered with are the survivors. Zombies are pawing at the gates, the costuming of people in the "Safe Zone" is worth the price of admission, but so are the attractions around every dimly-lit corner. And all the food. And crazy, apocalyptic cocktails. And darkly beautiful vendors. And the art, living and breathing. Svengoolie hasn't missed a Nightmare on Chicago Street yet, why have you?
